I have purchased a pair or rear spring dislocation cones as when I am off
roading the springs keep popping out and not going back into the correct
location, these should help with this problem and also allow for greater axle
articulation. This means more wheels on the ground more of the time.

Jack up the rear cross member and prop it so it will not drop on you whilst you are working. It is also a good idea to engage diff lock prior to propping so the landrover wont move. |
Once jacked to the correct height unbolt the rear spring retaining bar from the bottom of the spring (2 bolts) and slide the spring out. |
The dislocation cone slots into the upper spring holder and bolts to a large round plate which is placed above the upper spring holder. |

Once it is fitted and tightened correctly, replace the spring by sliding it over the cone and reseating the bottom of the spring on the axle. |
Unprop the rear of the chassis and lower the rear of the vehicle. Once the springs have lowered correctly replace the spring retainers and rebolt. |
