The Beast arrives. The Landrover looked fairly reasonable and drove the 30 mile distance home without any problems or mishaps. I knew it would need a lot of TLC and some welding. The bodywork seemed to be in good condition as did the engine and gearbox, tyres, and axles the chassis however, looked like it could do with a bit of welding (vastly understated). As she still had 4 months to go on the Tax and MOT I decided to drive her around to find out if any problems presented themselves before I started the renovations. |
